Beijing to Monitor Air Pollution Starting This Week

Residents in Beijing consistently complain about the high levels of air pollution in the city. In response to public opinion, the government has decided to take a positive step forward and monitor the air quality. Just this week, the Environmental Monitoring Centre in Beijing has started recording the Particulate Matter (PM) readings in the air for pollutants.

Only a few days ago heavy smog blanketed Beijing, causing nearly 700 flights to be cancelled at the airport. This caused a great deal of public outrage, prompting the government to start monitoring PM readings of 2.5 micrometers or less. It is hoped that when this information is made public knowledge, people will be encouraged to adopt cleaner lifestyles.

Holiday Rental Web agrees with this move by the Chinese government in Beijing, and hopes that the PM readings will get people thinking about what they can do to reduce air pollution. For travellers who want to check out other cities like Beijing that are doing their part for the environment, HRW suggests looking into hotels in Barcelona, Spain, or Melbourne, Australia. Both of these cities have been voted top ‘green cities’ in the world.

We Hope to Go Camping More Often

I would really love to travel. I know that one of the cheapest and funnest ways to travel is to go to the Florida RV Parks and camp out in our RV. It will be quite nice for us to enjoy nature while still having the minimalist amenities. I really enjoy camping in the RV because it protects us from the element better than anything else can. I also enjoy the simplicity of having everything that we need in an RV. I do hope that we continue to have a lot of fun with this. I think that it is something that the family has gotten used to and we have come to enjoy it so much that we do it a lot more often than we used to. It is so relaxing, and it is always so very fun to go exploring. I truly love the fact that we are an outdoor kind of family.

I Have to Do Most of the Planning

I suppose that we should really have booked the Koh Samui Hotels a little earlier, but that is okay. I just wanted to go when the kids were having their summer breaks, but it seems like we are just going to do it during Christmas instead. I have been looking online for things to do and places to go while we are there. There are tons of activities that I just do not know which one to pick. I just want our family to be able to enjoy our time there, and since I am the only adult around here who has time to plan for these things, I guess that I should take charge! I really want to make sure that I am okay with everything that is about to happen around here. I know that I am doing the right thing by taking the role of the trip planner. My husband is way too busy with work until his vacation, so he has given some input, but I am definitely doing most of the work.

Map Quest: Online Maps and Reliable Directions

If you live in North America, if you are a driver, and if you also use the internet then you probably know what Map Quest is, if you don’t know let me break it down for you real quick. Mapquest is one of the oldest online mapping sites on the planet, the site has been up and running online since 1996, the only web mapping service that’s older than MQ is Rand McNally which is a great site for those who need truck driving directions. Currently there is only one site that’s more popular than Mapquest and that site is Google Maps, I think that G Maps has more users around the world but I think that mapquest driving directions are more popular in the United States and Canada. I really don’t consider one service better than the other one, I like to use Google Maps just as much as I like to use Mapquest, both services have helped me save a lot of time and also a lot of money, I like to use both services and I will keep on using them for as long as I can.

Making Plans to Enjoy Labor Day Weekend

With the Labor Day weekend approaching, many non-Americans are expected to drop in on some of the hundreds of activities happening around the country. Travelers are strongly advised to get visitors health insurance which should be good enough to protect them in case they eat or drink that causes discomfort or pain, or they injure themselves while enjoying the many festivities. Visitors health insurance is not reason though to start taking unreasonable chances because on your next trip, you may have to pay a higher rate if you “abuse” your plan.

In North Carolina, visitors may feel discouraged to stay a few days for fear of the effects of the recent hurricane. Surprisingly, according to the VP of AAA Carolinas, Tom Crosby, the Outer Banks are open and they expect a higher inflow of tourists just curious to see what’s happened. However he does warn that Ocracoke and Hatteras Islands are still closed to the public.

He says, “Whatever traffic you encountered last year, you are going to encounter that plus a bit more this year.” But considering that gas is 16 cents cheaper compared to Memorial Day, and airfares are up, it’s going to be a very busy weekend on the highways. The local hotels are offering attractive discounts and the rush to finalize bookings are very encouraging. Labor Day weekend is the last long holiday before Thanksgiving, so it’s really a good idea for visitors and tourists to get the feel of a true American weekend holiday.

Holiday Villa Pollensa for My Wife

I was looking for a holiday villa Pollensa that I could take my wife to. I have been promising her a holiday for about three years now but had not come through with any of the plans that I had made. This year was going to be different. It is our tenth anniversary and I wanted to take her somewhere that would be mind blowing. I really did not want to tell her where it was that we are going until we were there. I just thought that I could tell her what kind of weather to expect so she could pack accordingly. I did find the place that I thought would be perfect. It would be romantic and beautiful and she will love it. I have made all of the reservations and booked the flights. I really think that it is going to be a trip of a lifetime for both of us.

It is Awesome to Be Able to Explore the USA

I really do believe that it is awesome to be able to explore the USA. I just know that it would be a very good thing for me. I have already traveled to five of the nearby states from the state of Tennessee, which is the state that I live in at the time. I really would love to be able to travel to the state of Ohio. I would like to go to the city of Cincinnati so much. I would love to watch a major league baseball game played by the Reds. Hey, I would even love to go to the city of Cleveland. I woulddefinitely love to watch a major league baseball game played by the amazing Cleveland Indians. I just think that this is the very nice thing for me to be able to do. I just want to be able to explore the USA a lot.

Love to Ski?

My husband and I have always loved to ski, but when we got to talking about it recently, we realized that it had been years since we had actually gone skiing together. We decided that was going to have to change, and so we decided that we were going to take a holiday and head to a ski resort for a weekend or so. We figured that this would be a lot of fun and was exactly what we needed to get away from the stresses of work and home. Taking My Kids to the Country

I really do not want to live in the city with my two children any longer. I have lived here with them ever since they were born, and I feel like this is not the right kind of environment for them. I think that they need to be out in the country, because they will be able to have fresh air there. They will also be able to play outside more if we live in the country, so they will become more healthy and physically active. Right now, they just sit in the house all day long and play video games with their friends. I have decided to look up “Montana Land For Sale” on the Internet in order to find land that I can buy in the country. I hope that I find land before my kids get too much older, because I want them to have a chance to learn how fun it can be to live outside of the city.
